Since 1988, Kathleen's mission has been to provide leadership in Northern New England through effective use of human, financial, technical and physical resources, attracting new resources, building external and internal relationships, supporting strong leadership and reflecting a commitment to the community's success. She is the mother of four adults, wife of a small business owner, active church member, but more importantly a champion for the economic success of Rural America. Sailing on the ocean or inland lakes, requires the captain to work with the constant wind and water changes. Backyard tree farming requires attention to minute changes in leaves, bark, flora, soil, and water levels. She has found these two past times give her an understanding about sustainability. With transparency, integrity, investment, connections, research, and strong observation skills, she assists small businesses and nonprofits to flourish in Rural America.
